About Evan
Evan Setley Evan is an Associate Clinical Social Worker under the supervision of Leah Niehaus, LCSW. Evan approaches therapy through a depth-oriented, trauma-informed lens that prioritizes the therapeutic relationship. His style is warm and supportive, empowering clients to look inward and explore parts of themselves that they may not have previously examined. This process can lead to profound growth and symptom improvement. Evan does not adhere to a "one-size-fits-all" approach; instead, he tailors treatment to each client's specific experiences, identities, and goals.
Evan received his Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College, where he focused on treating psychological difficulties while understanding the impact of cultural and systemic forces on individual struggles. His training includes Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS).
Evan was a member of Boston College’s Latinx Leadership Institute, where he took classes in Spanish that addressed dynamic issues specifically impacting the Latinx community. He provides services in both English and Spanish.
